Please note that our rates may change without prior notice. No refund will be issued for rate differences.

 

Booking

Reservations not paid within the prescribed time or not covered by a credit institution will be cancelled automatically without notice. Administrative charges may apply.

A valid credit card number is required to guarantee a reservation. If a client does not have a credit card, full cash payment and a deposit will be required.

Winter Season (January 15 to April 1)

A 20% down payment on the overall cost of a reservation is required upon booking. The balance is payable 15 days before the hotel stay.

Payments are applied automatically to the credit card provided during booking.

Reservations made within less than 15 days of the first day of stay must be paid in full.

Spring, Summer and Fall Seasons (April 2 to January 14)

A 20% down payment on the overall cost of a reservation is required upon booking.

Reservations made within less than 24 hours of the first day of stay must be paid in full.

Cancellation

To cancel a reservation, please contact customer service at 1 418 296-8514.

Winter Season (January 15 to April 1)

Cancellations must be made 15 days before your arrival date to obtain a full refund of your pre-payment. There are no refunds for cancellations made within less than 15 days before your arrival date.

Spring, Summer and Fall Seasons (April 2 to January 14)

Cancellations must be made 72 hours before your arrival date. Charges and applicable taxes for the first night’s stay at that day’s rate will be applied automatically to any cancellation made within less than 72 hours before your arrival date.

For group and event room bookings, the 15-day-prior-to-arrival policy applies.

Changes

Uapishka Station must be informed of any changes to the check-in or check-out date at least 24 hours before the booked check-in or check-out date. Charges and applicable taxes for the first night’s stay at that day’s rate will be applied automatically for any changes made within less than 24 hours before that date.

Changes made to the dates of the entire stay will cancel the booking altogether.

Snowmobiles Prohibited

For safety and prevention purposes, Uapishka Station, with the approval of Association des motoneigistes du Nord, reserves the right to prohibit snowmobiling or travelling in a specific sector when deemed necessary or if there are risks to personal safety. If an activity is cancelled altogether, hotel bookings may be refunded.

Check-in

Check-ins after 10 p.m. may be charged $20 per person.

Check-out

Rooms must be vacated by noon on the check-out day.

Fees for one night’s stay at that day’s rate and other applicable fees will be charged automatically for unauthorized late check-outs.

Breavage and damage

Any breakage or damage to the room or hotel equipment will be charged to the client’s credit card on file.

Smoke-free Environment

Privacy Policy

Uapishka Station understands the importance of protecting the personal information of its clients and is committed to respecting your right to privacy.

By visiting our website, you agree with the Uapishka Station policies regarding personal information processing and protection. Therefore, you consent to Uapishka Station collecting and using your personal information in accordance with this Policy, on the understanding that Uapishka Station complies with personal information legislation in force.

Collection of Personal Information

When you make a reservation at Uapishka Station, we collect some personal information, including your name, email address, home address and telephone number, along with booking details, hotel check-in and check-out information and payment processing data. Accordingly, you consent implicitly to authorize Uapishka Station to use this information.

We collect personal information through our online reservation form and your interactions with our website. We also use cookies and/or logs to collect personal information. When you access the Uapishka Station website, information is shared automatically between our website server and your computer, independently from their interactions. However, this information does not include personal information. Only the following information is transferred to ensure compatibility with shared files:

  • The name of the Internet domain and the IP* or website address from which you accessed our website;
  • The type of browser and operating system used;
  • The date and time of access;
  • The pages browsed.

Use of Collected Information

Uapishka Station mainly uses the information collected to assess the number of visits to our website and individual pages and the average time spent browsing on the site, in order to establish other relevant statistics to improve our website.

Uapishka Station does not collect any personal information unless you elect to provide information at your sole discretion, for example to make a reservation.

Hence, information collected during bookings allows us to identify and contact you, if need be, customize our service and complete transactions efficiently. Moreover, we use this information to conduct market studies in order to better meet the needs of our clientele, enhance their experience and improve the efficiency of our website and promotional activities.

Personal information collected electronically or otherwise by Uapishka Station is not disclosed to anyone, to the exception of Uapishka Station employees who need this information to carry out the tasks indicated in this Policy. You acknowledge and agree that Uapishka Station is also authorized to use, disclose and share your personal information to the extent permitted or required by law, including pursuant to court orders, in compliance with the Act respecting Access to documents held by public bodies and the Protection of personal information (R.S.Q., c. A-2.1).

When you make a reservation for an activity, you only need to provide the following information to the booking operator: family name, first name, telephone number and email address.

Despite taking appropriate safety measures required by law, no security is fail-proof. Hence, you must remain vigilant when processing or disclosing your personal information and avoid sharing personal information through unsecure emails.
